Your First Research Paper at Harvard: Discovering Sources in HOLLIS
HOLLIS: it’s our library catalog, but it’s also more than a library catalog. You’ll be using it constantly for the next four years, no matter what your concentration turns out to be. Now’s the time to start understanding all that it can do for you.
Books? They’re just the beginning. Find out what else HOLLIS has to offer!
In this 1-hour session, we’ll explain all the fundamentals, give you some advice on crafting good searches, tracking items down, and getting help when you need it.
Workshop will be held in Lamont B30. Bring your charged laptop with you -- and your lunch if you need to!
**Specifically designed for students who aren’t enrolled in a fall term Expos 20, but all first years are welcome.**
Sue Gilroy, Lamont Research Librarian, will lead the workshop.
Session repeats Monday, October 21, 2019, 7:30-8:30 p.m. in Lamont B30.
