Data + Donuts: Collecting, Managing, & Analyzing Data for PAE & SYPA Writers
REGISTER FOR THE EVENT (Harvard email required for in-person attendance)
Ruhee Wadhwania is the Outreach and Engagement Manager for the NYC Mayor's Office of Mass Engagement. She graduated from HKS's Master in Public Policy (MPP) program in May 2026, during which she co-authored the showcased Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) A HIPAA-Thesis for Congress: Strengthening Federal Protections for Consumer Health Care Data.
At this session of Data + Donuts, Wadhwania will speak about her approach to identifying her PAE research question, developing a research design, and pursuing her research through qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. This session is geared toward second-year MPP and MPA/ID students who are getting started on their PAEs or SYPAs.
This talk will be given in a hybrid format. Harvard affiliates are invited to register to attend in person, while members of the public are invited to attend online.
Since 2018, Data + Donuts has featured researchers and practitioners speaking about how they use data in their work, and on issues of data and society. We welcome those from the HKS community and beyond to share knowledge, discussion, and donuts. Explore the full list of past speakers. Video recordings are available upon request.
