Python Bites: Tabular Data

Register for the event (Harvard affiliates only).
Python is a popular, powerful, and open-source programming language that students and researchers can use to analyze and visualize data. Python Bites is a seven-week workshop series hosted at Harvard Kennedy School that will get you started with Python so you can use it in your coursework and projects. Join the workshops if you've never programmed before and are looking for a place to start, have used Python and want a refresher on fundamentals, or have used other programming languages (e.g., R) and would like to learn Python as well. Bring your lunch and learn with us!
In Bite 6: Tabular Data, we'll tackle:
- Getting data into Google Colab
- Reading tabular data into DataFrames
- Intro to statistical analysis
Can't make the workshop?
- Find all workshop recordings and materials in the Python Bites library guide.
- Join another Python Bites session (all are listed in the Harvard Library events calendar).
- Make an appointment with a HKS Research & Data Librarian for one-on-one support.
Python Bites is a collaboration between HKS Library & Research Services, Gutman Library at Harvard Graduate School of Education, Baker Library at Harvard Business School, and Harvard Library's Open Scholarship & Research Data Services team.
