Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) tools have the potential to assist in qualitative research at several stages in the research lifecycle. This session provides an overview of advantages of working with QDA software, a summary of anticipated outcomes, as well as a comparison between QDA platforms. The session will consist of comparing outputs from NVivo, Dedoose, and Atlas.Ti. The session will conclude with a hands-on demonstration of the free, open source, open access qualitative research tool, Taguette. This session is ideal for researchers designing their research project, selecting a QDA software, as well as those looking to maximize the QDA tools they are using.
