Houghton Library presents "Parchment at Harvard, Past and Present: An Introductory Workshop," a hands-on workshop by Bruce Holsinger, professor of English at the University of Virginia, who will be doing a walkthrough of different parchment examples from Houghton's collections.

Workshop attendees are encouraged to attend the Spring 2024 Philip and Frances Hofer Lecture on the Art of the Book: Beasts, Books, Biomes: Parchment and the Meaning of Life with Holsinger on March 28, 5:30 PM, at Houghton Library.

The workshop is held in Houghton Library's Hofer Classroom. Participants meet in lobby of the library.
