AI Skill Share session: Using Complementary Tools with Generative AI
Generative AI is an extremely helpful tool for boosting research or project work, but is rarely enough on its own to complete a project. This workshop will explore how generative AI can work alongside complementary tools to enhance data management and analysis workflows.
We’ll demonstrate how ChatGPT EDU can generate Python scripts for use in Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab, making automation and data processing tasks more accessible for staff. Participants will also engage in a hands-on exercise using the Harvard AI Sandbox to prepare data for visualization in Flourish, an easy-to-use data visualization tool. Whether you're new to AI-assisted coding or looking to optimize your workflow, this session will provide practical strategies for integrating AI into your data management tasks.
