Building Research Projects with Open Science Framework

Learn how the Open Science Framework (OSF) can improve your research workflow and solve common challenges across the research lifecycle. This workshop includes a guided overview of key OSF features, followed by hands-on activities where you will create and organize your own OSF project as well as explore best practices for collaboration and reproducibility. There will also be ample time to discuss questions and specific research scenarios.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Create and structure an OSF project effectively.

  • Add collaborators and manage their access permissions.

  • Connect external tools such as Google Drive or GitHub.

  • Register or preregister your research and assign a DOI.

  • Understand how OSF supports FAIR data principles.
