Better Research III: Data Sharing in Repositories (Online)
What: Learn about institutional, generalist, and discipline-specific data repositories you can use to share your research data according to recommended practices.
Why: Publishing research data within a trusted repository helps you comply with funder and journal data sharing policies, supports the discovery of and access to FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) data, and can result in more visibility and higher impact for research projects.
How: This is a free 1.5-hour online workshop, consisting of lecture and discussion. Participants will gain an understanding of the diverse landscape of repository options, and which features may be relevant for their discipline, data type, or funder requirements. The webinar recording will be shared with all who register.
Where: Online via Zoom (link provided upon registration).
Who: This seminar is open to faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge. Online webinars are open to the public research community.
Instructor: Katie Mika, MA, MLIS, Data Services Librarian, Harvard Library
