Data Literacy: Public Health GIS Workshop (In-Person)
What: This workshop is about using geospatial software and data to understand the relationship between environmental variables and health determinants.
Why: Basic familiarity with GIS software and data is useful in forming research questions, acquiring descriptive statistics, and making data maps.
How: This is a free 1-hour in-person workshop. The instructor will be available afterwards to answer any questions about research methods. This live, interactive session will not be recorded.
Where: Classrooms 102 & 103 on the First Floor of Countway Library.
Who: This seminar is open to faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge. In-person workshops are open to Harvard University ID holders only.
