Tidy Up Your Data! Organizing and Naming Your Files for Success (Online)
What: Learn the community approved standardized way to organize data values within a dataset to make it easier to work with.
Why: Analysis-ready datasets have been responsibly collected and reviewed so that analysis of the data yields clear, consistent, and error-free results to the greatest extent possible. Tidy Data specifically has become the standard format for the sciences because it easily allows people to easily turn a data table into graphs, analysis and insight.
How: This is a free 1.5-hour online workshop, consisting of lecture, hands-on activity, and discussion. The webinar recording will be shared with all who register.
Where: Online via Zoom (link provided upon registration).
Who: This seminar is open to faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge. Online webinars are open to the public research community.
