Best Practices for Creating Charts and Graphs (Online)
What: This workshop will cover key design principles you should consider when planning data visualizations -- from choosing the optimal chart or graph type for your data to the effective use of color, text, and annotations.
Why: Creating clear and interpretable data visualizations reduces the risk of misinterpretation, highlights true patterns, and allows others to reliably evaluate, replicate, and build on your findings.
How: This is a free 1 hour webinar.
Where: Online via Zoom (link provided upon registration).
Who: This seminar is open to all Harvard affiliates from all disciplines, and the public research community. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge.
