SUMMARY:Research Data Management is for Everyone
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nPresenters: Julie Goldman\, Research Data Services
 Librarian\, and Katie Mika\, Data Services Librarian\n\nLocation: Zoom -
please register to receive the link\n\nWhat counts as “data” in your
field\, and what should you actually do with it? In this session\, experts
from Harvard Library's Open Scholarship and Research Data Services
introduce core principles of research data management and demonstrate how
thoughtful practices can strengthen every stage of your scholarship.\n\nWe
will explore the many forms data can take across disciplines\, how you
might collect\, structure\, analyze\, and store it\, and why these choices
 matter for transparency\, accessibility\, and long-term impact.\n\nYou’ll
also learn how Harvard Library can partner with you to:\n\n\n	discover
existing datasets\n	organize and document your own collections\n	share your
research data with others in ways that are ethical\, compliant\, and
citable\n\n\nThis is an Unabridged “Bookends” workshop. Bookends
workshops are designed for graduate students\, with topics that complement
Unabridged’s January library research intensive. More program details on
 the Unabridged website.
