Join the finale of the "Data Horror Stories: What Haunts Projects and How to Exorcise It" Seminar Series. This event is co-sponsored by Countway Library and HMS/HSDM Office for Postdoctoral Fellows.

Location Details: Waterhouse Room, Gordon Hall, Harvard Medical School. This seminar is open to all Harvard affiliates from all disciplines. Attendees must have a HUID to enter Gordon Hall.

You've heard the horror stories. You've seen what goes wrong when backups fail, when sensitive data ends up in the wrong hands, when undocumented datasets disappear into the void alongside the lab member who created them. You've probably winced in recognition more than once.

This is where fear turns into action, chaos turns into clarity, and you go from data ghoul to certified data G.O.A.T.

For the final session of "Data Horror Stories: What Haunts Projects and How to Exorcise It" we're closing out the series the way all good horror stories should end: with survivors gathered together, comparing notes over a meal, and making sure no one has to face the same fate again.

Join us in person for a working lunch that transforms everything we've covered in "When Your Data Ghosts You" and "Darkside of Data" into a practical, personalized action plan, while giving you the chance to finally share the data nightmare that's been haunting you.

Attendees are encouraged to submit their own stories for a chance to share it live, get expert feedback, and help your colleagues avoid the same fate. Our panelists from the entire series will be on hand to reflect on the patterns they see across research communities and what they wish more researchers knew. Submit your Data Horror Story today!

You survived the horror. Now let's make sure your data does too.

Registration is required.
