Peer-Reviewed Sources: The Basics for New Students
When instructors say your sources have to be “peer-reviewed” or “scholarly” or “academic,” what do they mean? How do you search for these kinds of sources?
In this 1-hour workshop, designed specifically for first-year students, you will learn where peer-reviewed sources come from and how to be efficient about finding them.
You'll leave confident in your ability to determine whether a source is peer-reviewed, scholarly, or semi-scholarly, and---most importantly---whether it’s appropriate for your academic work.
Join us in Lamont B-30!
Odile Harter, Widener Library Research Librarian, will lead the workshop.
