URC Fall Brown Bag Series: Hosting Accessible Remote Meetings
Join us for Hosting Accessible Remote Meetings presented by Andy Hollenhorst, Digital Accessibility Consultant, Digital Accessibility Services, HUIT.
Details: When meetings and events are held remotely, digital accessibility is important to ensure that all attendees, including people with disabilities, are able to participate and engage with content at the same time, with the same ease of use.
With a little pre-planning, event hosts can structure an inclusive and functional environment for all participants.
This course will cover what to do before, during, and after the event.
- Before: communications & materials
- During: captions, presenter strategies & collaboration
- After: feedback, notes & recordings
The presentation will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM on Zoom. Zoom meeting information will be sent via email once you register.
Open to all Harvard affiliates. Please RSVP for the event below. If you have any questions, please contact libraryux@harvard.edu.
Accommodation Statement: Persons with disabilities who would like to request accommodations or have questions may contact the User Research Center at libraryux@harvard.edu in advance of the event.
