HOLLIS Quick Start for New and Returning Students

Thursday, September 17, 2020, 4:00pm - 4:30pm
Harvard ID required, Workshop,
Registration has closed.

HOLLIS: it’s our library catalog but it’s more than that. And books are just the beginning of all it has to offer you. Whether you’re living on campus or learning far from Cambridge this fall, HOLLIS will put an amazing amount of online content at your fingertips.

In this 30-minute session, we’ll cover the fundamentals of using HOLLIS and offer you some advice on crafting good searches.  We’ll also show you how to track items down, get scanned copies of our print materials, and ask for help from a Harvard librarian when you need it.

Find out why HOLLIS is the Harvard student’s essential research tool!

This workshop is specially designed for Harvard first years, sophomores who want a refresher, and Extension School students in Expo 15 and 25 -- but all are welcome.

Workshop will take place via Zoom: register for the event to receive a reminder email one hour before the event with the Zoom info.
