Your First Research Paper at Harvard: Discovering Sources in HOLLIS

Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Harvard ID required, Workshop,
Registration has closed.

(Harvard Library Research Fundamentals Series)

HOLLIS: it’s our library catalog but it’s more than that. Books are just the beginning what it offers you.

If you’ve got a research project to start – or one that’s already in the works – this one hour session is for you. We’ll explain the fundamentals of HOLLIS, show you how to craft good searches, evaluate your results, and track items down.

Find out all that HOLLIS has to offer you and why we consider it your essential research tool!

Sue Gilroy, Lamont Library Research Librarian, will lead the workshop.

Specially designed for first year students, sophomores who want a refresher, and Extension School students new to research at Harvard, but all are welcome.

Workshop will take place via Zoom: register for the event to receive a reminder email one hour before the event with the Zoom info.
