URC Summer Brown Bag Series: UX Interns 2021 Projects

Wednesday, July 28, 2021, 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Online, Harvard ID required, Presentation,
Registration has closed.

Please join us for a final presentation by our 2021 UX Intern cohort from the University of Michigan School of Information. Despite the challenges of a virtual internship during a global pandemic, our three interns – Peggy Du, Annika Gidley, and Mariele Ventrice – were able to engage in amazing work including:

  • Conducting a card sort investigating the library.harvard navigation
  • Accessibility review of HOLLIS
  • Interviews with Ivies+ library staff about UX search strategies, including bento box versus traditional presentations

In addition, the interns experimented with project management frameworks in a distributed environment, learned new tools for remote coordination and retrospection, and developed communication techniques to ensure projects were completed efficiently and equitably.

Open to all Harvard affiliates. Please RSVP for the event below. If you have any questions, please contact libraryux@harvard.edu.

Accommodation Statement: Persons with disabilities who would like to request accommodations or have questions please contact the User Research Center at libraryux@harvard.edu or 617-496-5272 in advance of the event.
