Advanced HOLLIS (Virtual)

Thursday, May 19, 2022, 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Online, Harvard ID required, Workshop > HOLLIS,
Registration has closed.

Please join Fred Burchsted and Emily Coolidge Toker for an Advanced Introduction to HOLLIS: learn tips and tricks to help you fully utilize the library’s electronic resources, explore ways in which HOLLIS can be helpful across the research lifecycle, and discover how to better leverage the Library’s connection with the likes of HathiTrust, Open Library, and the Internet Archive.

A special guest from Library Technical Services will be on hand to help explain some of HOLLIS's more interesting quirks.

You are encouraged to bring questions and research scenarios, ranging from the mundane to the truly unlikely. Tell us your stories and your woes, and together we will emerge from this experience with at least one magical bauble to aid you in your many quests.

Please note: this workshop will feature an overview of the updates to the HOLLIS interface that are scheduled to go live on May 16th.
