Curator-led Exhibition Tour: American Drag x The Queen *HFA ticket-holders only*
On Friday, October 28, Harvard Film Archive (HFA) and Houghton Library are collaborating on the presentation of the rarely-screened 1968 documentary The Queen, one of the first feature films to highlight the then-underground New York drag scene. Ticket holders for the HFA screening are invited to join exhibition curator, Houghton librarian Matthew Wittmann, for a special guided tour of American Drag prior to the film. This 45-minute tour will include discussion of the themes of the exhibition, highlights from the portraits on display, and ample time for participant questions.
Tour attendance is free for HFA patrons with a valid ticket, but space is limited to 20 guests—please register below to reserve your place.
